I was told, they will interview me first and then decide what designation to match the skillset.
Interview process involved grilling by 8 different teams right from SSE to Directors and then heads of each functional units. they insist on interviewing on a weekday and take about 6-7 hours of your time.
SSE asking code level questions for a senior leadership position was not funny at all.
