I had a recruiter screen followed by a coding round where I solved the problem efficiently and implemented it. The interviewer seemed happy with my approach, yet I was rejected the next day due to “not great” coding feedback. The experience felt misleading and like a waste of time.
I interviewed at Flow Engineering (London, England)
Interview
Late, arrogant, no feedback. Believe they radiant sunshine but it’s the type of disgusting attitude that won’t scale. Avoid this place, also no clear comp structure discussed in interview. Unstructured mess
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Flow Engineering in Oct 2025
Interview
Applied online, got an initial 45 minute call with an engineer, all behavioural type questions. Some Qs are a bit more probing than standard HR stuff (like in the book Talent by Cowen and Gross), and I guess they are also interested to see how keen you are on the companies mission. I didn't get past this stage, but I appreciate this was an extremely rare company I applied to where the interviewer actually gave me some feedback instead of the dreaded canned rejection from a noreply.
