      Inside Sales Representative Interview

      Jul 1, 2018
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Foley in May 2018

      Interview

Let’s start off with the first phone interview - HR calls me 30 minutes late, with no reference to the lateness of the call, nor any apologies for time wasted. After that, phone interview went decently well, and had a follow up email, where mistake #2 happens. Mistake #2 is I was called by the incorrect name (twice) - but I understand, mistakes happen - but it happened again. Set up for second interview with senior management in east coast - went wonderful, called on time, was very laid back and honest about the job - not all your prospects are given to you, neither are the leads (basically told me the job description on career site is false). 3rd interview - in person. Management is in shorts, tee, and simply looks like they don’t care, they don’t bother asking many questions, check their phones, and are overall distracted. Tells me the opposite of what senior management of the previous call told me, and tells me Foley itself is a billionaire dollar company.. which it is not. After all of this, I very THANKFULLY received no offer, which I would have declined anyways due to poor Omaha management. Oh - and the hiring HR had sent me the completely wrong date and time for the 3rd in person interview, and their office does not answer their on website phone number. No apologies given whatsoever.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to share your feedback with us. Here at Foley, it's our goal to provide every interviewee with a positive experience - from the initial phone interview through the selection process. In an effort to put "our best foot forward," we aim to be punctual, professional and to provide every candidate with a comprehensive overview of the company and the position. So while we pride ourselves on being a laidback and friendly organization, we do typically dress and behave more formally during the interview process. In this case, we were dressed a bit more casually as the interview was scheduled quickly to keep the process moving along (you caught us on a Friday with no time for a wardrobe change!). And just as we try to give our best first impression, it's important to recognize that we expect the same from our candidates, as well. We appreciate your interest in Foley and thank you for taking the time to learn more about the position we had available. We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

We're excited to have you on board as one of the newest members of our sales team! As you may have picked up on during the interview process, our goal is two-fold: to identify sales professionals who will contribute positively to our organization and to ensure you're making the right move for your career. By having you come in for multiple interviews, and meet with various members of our team, we aim to give you enough information about Foley so that you understand our organization and the culture we've built here. Welcome to Foley! We're looking forward to working with you.
