I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Saint Paul, MN) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied online and got a phone call almost a week later. The hiring manager was young, but still professional, and he had a few phone screen questions. Basic things about my availability, interest in the company, and what I was passionate about. We scheduled a face to face interview the next week.
In person interview was basic and asked about previous work experience. (Dealing with people, numbers, sales, commission, and communication) Interview was less than 30 minutes long and I was offered the position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What interests you in commission sales, and what do you know about it?
The interview setting is a group interview. Everyone was dressed somewhat casually and in their favourite sneakers. We were interviewed by the store manager and an assistant manager in both English and French since it was in Quebec. The questions were relatively easy, and it was easy to get your personality out there in this kind of environment.

Question 1
If an item was out of stock, how would you handle that situation with a customer?
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
