I was contacted in October 2023 to interview. I completed 4 rounds of virtual interviews between October and December. (Two of these interviews were rescheduled last minute.) I was told I was a strong candidate and asked to complete a writing assignment developing 2 marketing campaigns. During my last interview in early December, I was told no decisions would be made until the first 1-2 weeks of January. After not hearing anything, I followed up after this deadline. After 3 attempts on my end to contact, I was finally told I was not moving on. (I also asked for any feedback on my writing assessment, but never heard back.)
Interviewers were forthcoming about some internal speed and disorganization issues due to recent executive changeups.
There was also some mixed information between the job posting and my interviews. The salary range listed on the job posting was approximately $10,000 higher than what was confirmed to be the range during my recruiter call. In addition, the role was listed as hybrid and New York-based, but I was asked in one interview about the possibility of relocating to Florida, which had never before been mentioned.
