      Equipment Technician Interview

      Feb 26, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Farmers Branch, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at FormFactor (Farmers Branch, TX) in Feb 2025

      Interview

Applied online through FF website. Received an email to setup a time for a teams virtual meeting (small window to choose from) during lunch time hours. The interviewer was prompt to join. They asked why I left the previous company and was more interested in the dirt (or politics) instead of my skills, work ethic and overall accomplishments. It was going fairly well until salary was brought up. The attitude of the interviewer immediately changed when their cap couldn’t be negotiated over 2 dollars. Their offered dollar range verbally was told is only 1 dollar. Example: the position pays 1 or 2 dollars depending on experience. Because they aren’t willing to negotiate, the conversation turned rude. It seems this California company is fleeing California and setting up cheap labor to build their factory using maintenance technicians in Texas. I’m glad nobody called me back for a follow up.
