    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Foster Farms in January 2016.

    Interview

After schedule the first phone interview Forster Farms rescheduled the interview two times with very short notice. It shows already how the treat applicants. After the interview Forster Farms never call back or provided any information via e-mail. It's almost impossible to reach somebody at Forster Farms via phone or via e-mail. I tried at least 10 times to call them but I only reached the operator and I got never another person direct on the phone. The interview was in January 2016 and there are still "looking" for a person. For me it looks like there are not the right person involved in the hiring process or the SAP manager is afraid to hire an really expert.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Foster Farms (Compton, CA).

    Interview

Pulled up to the gate. Called and had a guard come open the gate because one walked off when I had pulled up and never came back.

Did a 20 min interview inside a little shack. Basic questions, was told about the job and typical day at work, my availability, etc.

They seem to prefer Spanish or bilingual people. One thing I didn't like in particular was how they made it seem like I was gonna get the job.

One thing I liked was that they were courteous and called me back to tell me that the position was filled.

    Interview

Foster Farms initially contacted me through email to set up an interview for an SAP position at their Livingston headquarters. I emailed back and was easily able to get a time to get interviewed.

My interviewer was very nice and easygoing but still kept on track. He asked me many different questions, ranging from my future plans to what some of my technical skills were. Overall, I was very impressed with their interview process.

    Interview Questions

    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Foster Farms (Livingston, CA) in May 2014.

    Interview

First round of the interview was a short telephone interview and the second round was a one-on-one interview with a manager, he asked me about my technical skills/experiences especially the projects I have worked on in university. For the last round of interview, Foster Farms gave us all a room at a nice hotel for two nights. The first day consisted of tours and in the evening we had dinner with the managers/CIO. Second day was the actual round of interviews, there were 9 managers that interviewed us and most of them were in pairs so 5 interviews back to back. I thought the interview process had a very relaxed atmosphere, the managers were all very nice and respectful. This actually influenced me to set my mind on Foster Farms, because of the amazing management here, there is a positive vibe and it is a good start for college graduates. Work is also nice, not a lot of stress like other corporate jobs.
