Over half a decade of video game QA experience, one of the interviewee was someone I'd worked with in the past as their project lead. Found a live bug on the game I was told to familiarize myself with. Everyone was very friendly except for the director who seemed disinterested in me. Was not given an offer.

Very bad and unprofessional experience! The HR contact me on linked in about the position of the show producer, I replied her the same day. After one week I checked with her again, she said she didn’t noticed the message, then she confirmed the interview on the next day. Second day just one minutes before of the interview , she rescheduled it without telling me just changed it on the calendar. I send the email to confirm again, she relied and reschedule it in next week. Again! She didn’t call for the interview at the second time, I send the email asked her if she wanna rescheduled again or is there have any reason she missed the schedule for twice, but never got the feedback. PLEASE SHOW SOME RESPECTS!

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Playa Vista, CA
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FoxNext (Playa Vista, CA) in Jul 2019
To summarize, it was an absolutely atrocious experience. After several phone interviews that had to be rescheduled last minute, was brought in for a full day’s worth of meetings. I had to take a day off from my current job (full day of vacation / PTO), after which the HR team completely ghosted by never providing an ounce of feedback, acknowledgment or consideration. I did my part by following up a month later, and never heard back, ever. A simple “thank you, but we have decided to proceed with another candidate could have sufficed,” but not even that. After reading others reviews here, I can say it is still the case, and the recruitment team should really take courses on professionalism and common courtesy HR best practices. They clearly have zero idea of what they are doing. I consider this a billet successfully dodged.
- Tell me about yourself because I didn’t look at your resume.

Terrible experience. Received absolutely no communication or follow-up from the recruiter two months after an in-person interview. I emailed the recruiter one month after the interview, was told they would check with the team, and I never received a response back. After another month, I pinged the recruiter again, and only then did I receive a rejection email. Highly unprofessional way to treat candidates.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Playa Vista, CA
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at FoxNext (Playa Vista, CA) in May 2019
I had two phone interview, the first one with a recruiter, second with one with a team member, lasted about 1 hour. The interview went quite good, almost all the time I was relaxed and at the end of our conversation I was asked to prepare a sound design test. Usually, I'm not doing any tests, but considering my desire to work with interesting projects I've agreed to take a test. They asked to make a sound for 4 different videos I should make sound focused on the character abilities. The test took 7 days, it was completed and submitted on time. After 10 days I've decided to ask the update and feedback about my test. Silence. Following up I asked again for the feedback and any update. I received a letter says they decided to move forward with another candidate (. The red flag: The team showed no respect, they did not provide even a short review about my test, I asked again two times. So I don't know the reason why my candidacy was declined, they left me in complete darkness and never answered after that. They treated candidate like garbage. Not great. P.S. At the official career website 21st Century Fox - my application is still under consideration for this position o_0 they show non-professionalism, it's one of the worst recruitment experience
- Quite standard questions, like tell me about yourself and about the projects you've worked on during your career

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Los Angeles, CA
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at FoxNext (Los Angeles, CA)
The process took several months, with on again and off again sessions and scheduling due to various personnel shifting about, which is completely understandable. The entire process was exceedingly long but worth the potential opportunity, given that I was brought in via internal references. The interview process consists of multiple phone screens, "casual " onsite meetings and coffee, office tour, "serious/official" interview panel. Expect phone screens and casual interviews to take anywhere from an 45 minutes to an hour. The serious panel will take the entire day and in my case, several days. What was most disappointing with the studio and their hiring practices are: 1) Recruitment did little to nothing in terms of follow up and outreach, with my having to reach out, remind and ask for next steps. The lack of communication and accountability is somewhat surprising and certainly disappointing. 2) After months of interviews, there is no follow up again on the decision by the studio. As I was interviewing for a sr. management position, at the very least, a simple "Yes/No" would have sufficed but they did not bother to, even after the umpteenth time having to interview with their panel.
- Variety of questions were asked, most on the "normal" side with others being strangely bizarre. The one that pops to mind: What opportunity are you missing by coming here? A very strange question when you are the candidate that applied and is going through multiple interviews to be a part of this studio. The opportunity is here, why else would I be standing in front of you? Hypothetically, I could be missing out on tons of opportunities but the focus is on this opportunity, so why should any candidate be thinking about something else?
