I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Free People (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2016
Interview
I had to call the store and then they set up my first interview from there. I could not make it to there selected times, but they worked with me and I met with the Visual Manager for my first interview. It went super well. Mostly questions about my style and who I am as a person. My second interview was with the Store Manager. Much more serious and straight forward - technical questions about my availability and how long I would stay at the store (turn over).
Straightforward interview process - applied online, got a call back and chatted with the manager in-store. Mostly asked questions about my previous experience and also went through the store's structure
Super easy and straightforward interview-to-offer process. 1 interview with a manager at the store, it lasted about an hour in total. Simple behavioral questions and experience in customer-facing roles. The whole process took about 2 weeks,
Interview was very informative about the company’s culture & vision. I mainly was asked questions about my experience & passions - we discussed potential growth in the company as well. Key is to be excited, authentic and really showcase your vibe & interest in fashion!
