I applied online. I interviewed at Free People in Jan 2026
Interview
In-person, somewhat informal interview process. They asked normal interview questions: handling conflict, work/communication style, retail experience, things of that nature. Also asked why I was interested in the job. I had to do a "styling activity." You're given a prompt, (Date night, concert, etc) and told to pick out an outfit you'd recommend to a customer. I'd make sure to include accessories and shoes (if the location has them). I did not get the job.
