I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Grand Rapids, MI)
Interview
First round on campus, all behavioral. Remember to talk about your own achievements, instead of the project team's achievement. They want to know what you did, not the whole team.
Second round on site. Whole morning of interviews, mostly behavioral but some questions regarding your knowledge on the industry.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at GE Aerospace in Dec 2018
Interview
Basic Technical questions, mostly related to Mtech thesis and projects done in your academic career. The questions test your understanding as an engineer and does not test your memory. So no fact questions
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GE Aerospace (Cincinnati, OH) in Oct 2018
Interview
Interview with 5-6 different people, mostly behavioral and project based questions. The people were very nice and gave you plenty of time to answer and ask questions. There is a team exercise at the end that allows them to see how well you work in a team, and how you think about a given problem.

It was a half day event of a 8 minute presentation to a panel, followed by 4 or 5 round robin style individual interviews. These were with a mix of HR and engineers.
