I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GE Digital (San Ramon, CA) in Feb 2015
Interview
Half day long ordeal, with lots of white boarding with people who dont know what they are asking just off of some list they have, if you give a better answer then the one someone told them they dont know how to evaluate it
I applied in-person. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at GE Digital (Bengaluru) in Aug 2021
Interview
Total 6 rounds of Interview . All were during my late night .
Starts with Manager round who assess you on general culture fit .
Next were technical ones which included questions in aws , linux and coding .
And then finally was Hiring Manager round which went for 1.5 hours , He asked me all design and architecture of my current company but did not say much about their own .
From all these rounds I felt like they were trying to solve their own Architectural problems by taking ideas from Candidate Company's way of working as they were all digging quite deep and never provided much insight into their way of doing day to day work .
After these intense interviews HR recruiter ghosted me and never called me or sent a formal/informal rejection . Upon reaching out to her directly over phone and email ,She said she have left the company and someone else will follow up . But no one ever followed up .This one was quite unprofessional and rude to the candidate who has been very co-operative with their process .
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at GE Digital (San Ramon, CA) in Sep 2017
Interview
I was interviewed in San Ramon, first is a Hackrank test, it's an easy hour test, two questions, I managed to finish within 40 minutes. Then I went on site, meet a couple of people ask my background and design, a simple design question. After that, I was asked to go the second time and meet other team members, a lot of behavior questions.
