I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Generac Power Systems (Waukesha, WI) in Jan 2019
Interview
I went through the phone screening process to start, which went smoothly and was very informative. It's too bad that was the only part of the interview process that was done in an organized fashion. From there I met with three people from the marketing department, all separately. I found that the more questions I asked about their department structure and project management, the more clear it became that they didn't have one. At one point I asked one employee what their title is, and to that they said, "I'm not really sure." A few main points I got from the in person interview was: this department is a dumping ground for sales, most projects don't come to fruition, and the less you care the better you'll do. I'm VERY disappointed a large company like this has such a poor excuse of a marketing department. And lastly, they took three months to reach out and say I got the job. When I responded back with questions, two weeks later and I'm still waiting for a response from their recruiter.
