I applied online. I interviewed at General Atomics (Rancho Bernardo, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
Quick, friendly and comfortable the interview process was well like a well oiled machine. Every thing went smoothly .fist a quick phone interview then a group panel interview which is onsite and the people were easy going, and with a good sense of humor, I think i did very well at the interview and answered all the easy questions
very basic interview process, the interviewer asked mainly about my work done in school and previous work experience. Talked a lot about hobbies and shared common interests with the interviewer.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at General Atomics (Poway, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
The interview with the hiring manager was scheduled on very short notice, so I didn’t have much time to prepare. The conversation focused heavily on technical questions in aerodynamics and propulsion, rather than behavioral. Overall, it was a straightforward but challenging experience, good for someone with strong fundamentals, but worth knowing that it won’t be just casual background questions.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at General Atomics (Rancho Bernardo, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
Multiple rounds of interviews from difference scientists, covered technical skills and general personality assessment. Very nice people, they tried to make it as low stress as possible. Mine was just for an internship, so I can't speak to the difficulty of applying to an actual position
