I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at GitLab in Jul 2019
Interview
Hi there,
I interviewed for the Senior Executive Business Administrator business and was initially reached out by their recruiter to set up a Zoom video interview. After the interview, I sent her 2 emails to see if there was an update on next steps.
Today I received an email saying that they would not be moving forward with me for this role. That’s fine, totally get it. However, the email came from some random recruiter that I had never spoken with.
Just suggestion for future interviews, GitLab, it’s much more of a personal and meaningful touch for the rejection email to come from the recruiter that you’ve been dealing with through the entire process.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at GitLab (Bergen op Zoom) in Sep 2022
Interview
The process started off ok, I was impressed by their transparency. After being considered for (2) roles, I was narrowed down to one. Made it to final rounds after taking their (5 hour assessment) only to be told they were going to focus on other candidates right after I was told I had amazing feedback and I'd be moving to meet Exec's (final step) upon asking the recruiter for transparency, no response, surprised as I "thought" GitLab was different.
