Interview
I applied for the job (Developer Productivity) via LinkedIn. The recruiter reached out to me and after the initial conversation, she setup my first technical (coding) round online.
The interview went well and I was very impressed by the interviewee and the conversation as well.
After 2 days, the recruiter reached out again confirming that I had cleared the first round and if I would be interested in coming down to their office for the rest of the interviews.
I had 2 more technical rounds of interviews on site.
First one was coding challenge and the next round was lld Design round.
Again, in my opinion the interviews went very well and I got positive vibes from the interviewee as well.
After 2 days, the recruiter called confirming that the rounds were positive and they wanted to hold last round with their India Head which would be an online call.
The call went well. It was a bit of situational questions and a small coding challenge.
I was very positive that I would get an offer.
The team reached back after 2-3 days and asked for my documents (previous pay slips, expected salary etc.)
However, after all this they just ghosted me.
On calling and asking for feedback, they mentioned that they have put my profile on hold and will get back after 2 weeks time period.
It is very frustrating when companies of such calibre do not give a straight forward answer. That was the last conversation and after that, they just ghosted. No feedback, no response, just "on hold".
