I recently experienced a recruitment process that, despite a positive interview, concluded with an unexplained rejection and a total lack of feedback following my enquiries. It is disappointing to see such a breakdown in communication, which unfortunately mirrors the low satisfaction ratings reported by the company's staff and customers. A candidate’s experience is often a reliable reflection of an organisation's broader culture and professional standards.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard situation-based question with answers to be given using the STAR method.
The interview process was very nice smooth and engaging. It felt more like a thoughtful conversation than an interrogation, with plenty of breathing room and consistent encouragement throughout the entire experience.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Glide (UK) in May 2024
Interview
The Interview was remote, I received an invite and joined on time. The Interviewers were not present, apparently there was an error on their calendar which made them think it was 30 minutes earlier. I had to chase to get it rescheduled, once rescheduled I think it went quite well, it was extremely informal but had reasonable structure. I unfortunately heard nothing back, no rejection or offer despite following up.
