Phone interview was average as was onsight interview. Onsight interview was half day with 2 engineers the ceo and HR manager. Enjoyed getting to meet them during lunch. They were good hosts and very professional. Left with overall positive impression and seem like great people to work with. However I would up talking a different position.
Pretty easy, 1 hour sit down with two people from manufacturing. visited floor operations and toured inventory control, break room, and offices. Pleasant environment, people, surroundings. The building is air-conditioned.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Global Solar Energy (Tucson, AZ) in Oct 2011
Interview
As a Mexican citizen, I have difficulty finding work even with my Masters degree. The company had no issue with my Mexican citizenship which was a huge plus. There was only 1 panel interview from the production engineers. There was no HR present which I find can be very restrictive. There were only a few aptitude questions. The questions were mostly aimed at my previous work experience and skill set.
