At first, the interview process seemed professional with a call from the talent acquisition member in HR to do the initial screening. Then a short intro call/interview was arranged with the hiring manager which went smoothly and professionally with the usual introductory questions being asked, and because the initial call was short a follow-up call was arranged with the hiring manager again.
On the 2nd call, right from the beginning, the hiring manager had a very negative outlook and it seemed he had made up his mind not to progress with my application but the call carried on with more challenging questions and constant interruption when I was trying to provide answers. The second call was not conducted in the most professional way and I felt that questions were just being asked for the sake of just completing the interview with no interest in my answers. However, I was surprised that the hiring manager asked for a 3rd call but with a task to present a business strategy.
So after spending 3 days putting a presentation material together, I received a call from HR to say that the hiring manager had decided not to progress any further and a 3rd interview was never arranged. It was disappointing especially because of the amount of time and effort I had invested in the interview and doing the research and putting together the requested material to present and never getting the chance to present it.
So overall felt very dissatisfied with the way the process was handled by LogMeIn. I think if you asked a candidate to put time and effort to do something then give them at least the courtesy to show the results.
