      I debated on whether to fill one of these out, but this was singled handily the worst place I have ever interviewed. I was reached out to by an internal recruiter on Linkedin. Set up phone call with the recruiter and after that went well, I was asked to set up a phone call with the direct hiring manager. (The COO). I explained I would love to but that I would be on vacation the following week so would be happy to do the phone call the week after I return. The recruiter then came back saying they would love to have the phone screen the week I was on vacation. After explaining that I do not want to interview during my time off, I scheduled the phone call for the following week as the recruiter kept emailing me during my vacation. I was told it would be a video interview. Came home early from work for it. The Interviewer still had not shown after 10 minutes so I emailed the recruiter who told me that the COO was on their way, but "didn't know he had an interview". 15 minutes into the interview (only scheduled for 30 minutes) the COO finally showed up. The COO then answered my questions with short answers, if you can even consider them answers, yawned while I was replying to one of his questions (keep in mind this is a video interview) and then told me they were looking for someone who has handled larger clients, even though I had already explained to the Recruiter my client size and responsibilities. I called the Recruiter immediately afterwards to tell him I was not interested and that it was hands down the most unprofessional interview I have ever experienced. He apologized but I can only imagine what working there must be like if that is how they treat people they actually reached out to for the position. Beware!!

      Really disappointed with my experience with Gong, I use their product and think it’s great. I didn’t officially apply for the role but was contacted by the recruiter for an exploratory chat. After a couple of questions around my background, the recruiter immediately decided that I should be put forward for a less senior role despite my experience and I didn’t get a chance to ask a few questions and the recruiter said they had to run and could only answer 1. Although I didn’t officially apply, I received a rejection email which I find insulting especially as this was meant to be an exploratory chat.
