I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Gong (San Francisco, CA) in Jul 2021
Interview
I spoke with one of the Recruiters, Kelly, who did a phenomenal job of moving quickly to set me up with an interview and give me timely feedback. She was communicative and made a world of difference that she called me to let me know they couldn't move forward since I am remote.

Question 1
They asked me thoughtful questions such as why I am interested in the opportunity, what questions I have, etc.
Thanks for your feedback and for considering a role with Gong. I am pleased that you had a quick and positive experience and that Kelly was prompt to communicate with you throughout, especially when it mattered most. Appreciate you taking the time to speak with us and for writing this review.
Emily, VP Talent Acquisition at Gong
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gong (San Francisco, CA) in Jun 2025
Interview
Was a pretty standard interview process. The team seemed great. I do not think the product is fantastic and the market seems a bit tapped. I did think the interview was a tad lackluster. I thought it should have been more in depth.

Question 1
How do you think the best way to lead a team of strangers is?
Very confusing and badly managed. The original recruiter ended up rescheduling the call 2 separate times at the last minute. very shocking especially for a company of their size. with an interview process so messy I cant imagine the insides of this org.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Gong
Interview
A very long process that had you in upwards of 6 interview rounds. Seemed very repetitive. Ultimately they were unorganized and didn’t know what they were looking for in a potential candidate.

Question 1
Asked to go through a gong recorded mock coaching call for one of the interviews.
