I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Mountain View, CA) in Jul 2016
Interview
It was all very smooth. The recruiter is very friendly and accommodating; I was working under a deadline, and she helped push things along very quickly. She even got my results from the interviews 2 days later. Probably the best recruiter I've worked with. Always communicating, keeping me updated and sending me useful information/resources. The interview algorithm questions were reasonable. Though it would have been nice to get more feedback from one of the interviewers could be as I worked through the problem.

Question 1
Minesweeper problem. Write a function reveal() that outputs the number of tiles shown when a user clicks on a tile. Each tile shows the number of bombs as its neighbor. If the user click on a tile that is a bomb, the game is over. If that tile is 0, reveal all its neighbors.
The standard interview process involves five key stages: an initial phone screening, a formal interview with the hiring manager, technical or skills assessments, team-based or panel interviews, and a final culture-fit conversation with senior leadership.
Ok it was a fun interaction with a dsa question. I was not able to complete that question. It was slinky to the requirement is that the correct 💯 of the file 🗄️ is a good time
Call with a recruiter, first interview is a simple tech task to validate your profile, then 3 tech interview and a cultural fit interview. All interviewers were friendly and competent.
