Interview
Google has the best recruiters I have experienced so far. Just to put in perspective, This is my third interview process with google, each time I am made it one step forward. My interviewer however could be better. I will talking about my recent interview process.
applied online at google. Recruiter reached back to me in 2 days and asked my availability for phone chat and screening. My recruiter briefed me with the process and send me reference materials and tips how to succeed in interview.
Technical interview: 2 back to back interview each 45 min long
my first interviewer was so difficult to understand and had feedback on audio to make mater worse. I asked if it can be fixed but comment not taken:(
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1st interview: write a function to give probability of busting on playing black jack.(black jack is a card game to get as near as 21, over 21 is a bust, cards are numbered 1-10, imagine there is a function draw() to draw a card)
2nd interview: write a function to return closest bike/car given a grid with people requesting car/bike
there is no online assessment, very simple phone call, then two technicals. technicals are not difficult by any means. then you get put into team matching, after a couple months

Interview
Resume screening and then two 2 rounds of technical interviews, on an elimination basis. Interview done on google docs with no IDE, dsa leetcode style question. May be asked follow up questions on how to optimise your solution or on how you would code up a solution to a similar problem.

Home exam, 2 questions in 90 mins
Then they did 2 interviews-45 mins each
It was on google meet
The interviews are in English, the first question was matrix dfs and the second one was hashmap with random function
