Google’s marketing intern process begins with a resume screen, followed by an initial recruiter call. Shortlisted candidates undergo two to three rounds of video interviews assessing "Googleyness," leadership, and Role-Related Knowledge (RRK). If successful, you enter team matching and a hiring committee review before receiving a final internship offer.

Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin) in Dec 2018
Interview
Perfectly organized: an employee contacts you and personally guides you through the process. After the CV review, I made two phone interviews. They were really kind and punctual. They also provided feedback that I used to imrpove my CV before actually sending them my application.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Gurgaon, Haryana) in Jun 2025
Interview
It was pretty straightforward; they asked a lot of questions about marketing and digital marketing in general. Any sort of relevant work experience and internships count and matter a lot. If you really are passionate about marketing, go for it.
