I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin) in Jun 2014
Interview
Expectations and positions to be discussed changed 3 times in the process. Confusing for the applicant! Overall messy and unclear as you meet people from teams for which you're not applying. Recruiting HR changed last minute; not sufficient level of detail for the type of questions to be asked for the role.
No real feedback of why I did not receive an offer. The overall general 'we found more suitable candidates' and your answers 'were not wrong but could have been more structured'.

Question 1
Personal questions were quite surprising for a job interview
The interview process for the customer service representative position at Google was structured and professional. The questions focused on previous experience, communication skills, problem-solving, and handling customer situations. The overall process was straightforward and consistent with the responsibilities of the role.

“Can you describe a time when you handled a difficult customer and how you resolved the situation?”
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Google (Dublin, Dublin)
Interview
Organised , 2-3 rounds , more about media experience and more follow-up questions … last few minutes for questions to hiring manager … confident answer in STAR method is best way to proceed
They have a very well-structured hiring process and scheduling interviews was incredibly easy and convenient. The recruiter was super friendly throughout our entire interaction, and they thoughtfully provided post-interview feedback to me, which I greatly appreciated receiving.
