      User Experience Research Intern Interview

      Apr 8, 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google in Feb 2018

      Interview

One phone call with the recruiter asking about my background. And then another with the manager of the team, 45 mins, asking technical questions and seeing if my interests match up with that of the team. They describe the project as well.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Tell me a little bit about yourself and the work you’re doing? Was there a point where you realized that you need to think more about the product you were working on? Tell me some of the methodologies that you’re familiar with. Can you tell me some of the pros and cons of in-lab usability studies? If you had all the time and money, what would you study in relation to [the team's] product?
