I had one phone interview that took 45 minutes, and almost after 10 days was invited to have the on-site interview. There I had 5 subsequent interviews wherein the first one was about my thesis, and the other 4 were technical questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2019
