    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took a week. I interviewed at Grand & Toy (Toronto, ON (Canada)) in June 2017.

    Interview

It was numbers focused as any typical sales interview should be. Behavioural and situational questions were asked. Both interviewers were relaxed and easy to talk to. They made me feel it was ok for me to interview them as much as they interviewed me. It was a 2 interview process not including being vetted by recruiter first. It went well!

    Warehouse Worker Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grand & Toy (Calgary, AB (Canada)).

    Interview

Had two telephone screening interviews prior to a face-to-face. Went through the interview with a really nice guy, and then was presented with a stack of papers to fill out. They make you fill out an application as well as a criminal records check AND a credit check. I asked about the credit check because I've been through bankruptcy. The guy said not to worry; it was to check for any fraudulent behaviour (isn't that what the criminal records check is for?). I did not get the job.

    Interview

Process was typical of a large company. However, the interviewer basically talked about himself for 57 minutes out of the hour. Later when I joined the company I saw this was just how he worked. Never listened to a word others had to say about anything. LOL.
