Great Forest interview questions

I applied on LinkedIn within the day it was posted. The CEO emailed me the following day and requested a video interview. Besides finding it abnormal to be in contact with the CEO of a consultancy at that stage of the interview process, I found it frustrating to be asked questions solely regarding my character, rather my experience. I pride myself in the professional experiences I have worked hard to obtain in this field and was excited to share their relevancy to the position. Each one of my experiences involved waste management projects, so I was seemingly qualified. It is always red flag when I am not asked about my experience in a subject. How can a company qualify one's candidacy solely on character? Could that mean that every one of Great Forest's consultants have no environmental or waste management background? Moreover, when I asked about the CEO's interest and initial involvement with the company, he mentioned a timeline similar to his LinkedIn profile: he interned for GF in high school, joined the Peace Corps, then came back and became CEO....
