I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Green Hills Software in Oct 2018
Interview
I initially talked to a GHS recruiter at a campus career fair. They invited me for an on campus interview which consisted of going over my resume in detail and asking questions. Next they had me complete a short take home coding challenge. Finally they flew me out for an onsite interview where they had me complete an extensive multi hour coding project

Question 1
Be prepared for a multi-hour coding challenge during the onsite
There was a quick 20-question quiz followed by an in-person non-technical interview. They simply asked about things on my resume. After this, they offered me an in person tour of the campus in Santa Barbara, but I rejected.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had a challenge you didn't know how to face.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Green Hills Software
Interview
HR screen followed by 4h HackerRank Challenge. Then 2 day onsite interview.
First half of the day was just talks. You meet with the engineers, CEO, etc.
Second half of the day is a 5.5h coding test. Pretty brutal. Language is C / C++ / Java. Cant say much because of NDA. I am not sure if there is a way you can prepare too.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Bound by NDA. Just know your coding language well.
One HackerRank question, one 30 minute interview with someone from HR, one 1 hour technical interview with a manager, and then an onsite interview (Online during Covid). They gave you plenty of time to complete the HackerRank question.
