I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grifols

      Interview

It was just a phone call with the manager. At the end they decided to pick one of their own employees, I don’t see why they bother opening positions then to external candidates, I think they just do it for law purposes.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Grifols (Des Moines, IA)

      Interview

I was told the process is 4-6 weeks. Phone interview with recruiter, phone interview with management, a face to face interview, then a final presentation with an executive summary. Unusual but interesting. The process was actually 18 days. Which was great. Concerns/Issues I was told the presentation and summary was going to be based on my experience, yet it was based on the company scenario. Which bothered me, because after speaking with the actual manager, seemed to me, that this was actual problems the center was currently having and they were fishing. The day of final interview aka presentation, my property was damaged by someone on the management team. They can deny it, all they want, but we all know. The presentation slides I submitted were altered, which I noticed during my presentation, was this done on purpose to throw me off or to sabotage the presentation. I'm going with sabotage, since my property was damaged too. But why? That is extremely unprofessional and childish. I took my time & energy, that was unpaid for, to perform and produce findings, if they were not interested, they could have cancelled, no big deal. Why, waste both our time, company resources and ruin my property. I was then lied to. Was told decision would be in 2 wks, told they loved my ideas, energy, thought through, questions, point of view, etc... Yet, I received a rejection letter, the very next day. Interesting. What bothers me the most, aside from damaging my property, wasting time, stolen ideas, corporate not doing anything about what happened. I feel bad about their current employees. From how the manager spoke about them and the centers situation, was very poor and uncaring. I thought if hired, I could help the employees develop, grow and find a real future in the company, not just a stepping stone to their next gig or just looking at this job as a job, but a career. I am definitely not a micromanager nor a boss. I am a real leader, they are looking for a boss.
