The CEO of the group reached out to me saying “very impressed with my background, etc etc” and can we please spend some time.
But first….please complete the attached GRI survey (UGH!), which is one of those silly psychometric assessments that after you make a bunch of selections on certain personal traits, tells you whether or not you’re a fit with their organization.
The survey is quite literally something from the 1970’s which was a big turn off for me. I’ve had a stellar career for many years, but it seems that’s not enough for these guys, they need a survey!
So after I reluctantly completed the GRI survey, I then get an email from the CEO saying that its not going to work. No conversation, no interview, just defered to a survey to determine fit!
If you guys are looking for cookie cutter, one size fits all sort of an organization, then maybe this place is for you, but not in the modern world we now live in where.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First ever interview with zero questions, because I never spoke to a human:)
Sorry that you had a bad experience with our process in 2022. Just seeing your review now. All behavior profiles provided by the GRI survey are good. There was nothing wrong with yours. The opposite. Our decision was based on multiple criteria. With many people who answered our job proposal and limited time availability, we couldn't interview all candidates, and preferred to focus on a few.
