      Interview

Entire process was bizarre. Week seater applying, I received an email from someone’s assistant saying I “must be available” for a call either that afternoon or the next day. During that phone interview I was asked simple questions about my background and moved to the next round - a modeling test. The modeling test was emailed to me and I was given 8 hours to build it and then put together a PowerPoint. This is something I have a lot of experience doing, so it wasn’t hard. I completed it and submitted it - but then didn’t hear back for more than 6 weeks. I received a generic email from a no-reply email address saying they had selected someone else. At this point I’d already accepted a job from another company but still emailed to ask for feedback, and was told that they went with someone who had more experience - you know, the kind of thing they would have known from my resume and didn’t have to waste hours of my life on a case study. Overall, very unprofessional.
