Interview
Applying for HMSA would be ideal if you currently hold a job and looking to transition into something else. For me the process is fairly long. I applied online. It took about almost 2 weeks before I got a call from HR to set up an interview appointment a week after the initial call. Prior to getting my interview, I had to complete 3 test online as well. When I had my first initial interview. It was with a supervisor and it lasted about 45 minutes. It consisted a lot of behavioral and situational questions and questions related to previous work experience. It was very casual. She informed me that would contact me to follow up. Little did I know I got a 2nd call back to do a 2nd interview 1 week later. My 2nd interview was schedule 2 within 2 weeks and this time it was with 2 of the managers. How intimidating can that be. When the time came I talked with both managers and the previously asked the same questions from the first interview but in a different format. They were very detailed regarding the position which can be very overwhelming to take in. The interview lasted for an hour. All I have to do is wait for a decision they made. Overall as you can see, the process is lengthy. Have patience. if you get the job, great! if not... take it as a learning experience for the next job you apply for.
