Interview
I got this interview because I knew somebody. That is how you get hired at this company. I had been applying to open requisitions online for 3 months before I met the guy who got me hired within a few days. He gave my contact info to some high-up whom then emailed me asking for a phone interview. The phone interview went well and he passed me off to local management who gave me an official interview two days later.
Aptitude test then simple interview talking about the role and how your personality would be suited to it. Furthermore explaining the technical aspects of the primary tasks ie creating mudlogs and how to store the data

Interview
Supervisor called with very clear cut job criteria as well as laying out plan for salary, job advancement and work site conditions. Some brief questions were asked and the job was accepted.
