Interview
It was long, 3 days or so. One day of interviews and two days of tours and shmoozing. You needed to interview along side a partner. They wanted to hear you listen to their answers and work together to provide answers to the same question. They put a lot of time, effort and money into the hiring process and it gives you an idea of how much effort they put into training their RMTs

Two days of 4 group interviews each. Meeting with head of company, head of local division, and people in HR, Finance, and Operations. About 8 hours total. Paired meetings. About it.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Hannaford (Portland, ME) in Feb 2018
Interview
Applied through school in November, in February we set up a quick 4 question skype interview, and then the final round took place a week later. The final round is a 3 day, 2 night affair in Portland, ME where you and the other applicants take tours, talk with RMT grads of the past, and even have lunch with the president. It all culminates on the 3rd day where you will have 6 consecutive 45 minute group interviews with many of the senior VPs of the company. it can seem intense but they do a good job of changing it up at each interview and making you feel comfortable. Overall it was a fantastic experience and it really showed just how much they invest into this RMT program.
