Holland & Hart LLP interview questions

I interviewed for this role about four weeks ago and met with two IP specialist leads and two partner attorneys. Overall, the process was organized and I appreciated the opportunity to speak with multiple team members across different levels. Most of my conversations were engaging and informative. However, the second specialist lead interview felt somewhat discouraging. During that meeting, I was repeatedly asked whether I was truly comfortable handling strict deadlines and frequent client communication. I explained that due to my current work background I’m very familiar with high-demand, deadline-driven environments and constant client interaction. Despite my reassurances, I left feeling as though my experience may not have been fully recognized or understood. The interviewer emphasized that the role is high demand and requires resilience, which I completely understand and respect. I just wish there had been more opportunity for a balanced discussion about how my background could translate into the position. Ultimately, I did not receive an offer. While the experience was mixed, I appreciated the exposure to the team and the clarity around expectations for the role. Advice to Management: Ensure interviewers approach candidates with curiosity and openness, especially those transitioning from adjacent practice areas. It can make a significant difference in candidate experience.
