Recruiter call
- Was reached out to by a recruiter. We scheduled a quick call, it went well and scheduled a tech video chat interview.
Tech Phone interview
- I met with a Senior Engineer. We were supposed to do a coding challenge but instead, we talked about my background and the position and he asked several technical followups like "how would you populate a dropdown with lots of data from an API". Shortly after the call I was scheduled for a virtual onsite interview.
Virtual Onsite
- This consisted of 3 technical interviews and 1 behavioral. 2 of the technical interviews were easy/medium leetcode/pramp style algorithm questions. The third interview was about plotting points on a graph and the interviewer (very nice guy) had a very thick accent so it was difficult to understand. The behavioral was less of a conversation and more just listening to the interviewer talk about their goals for the year and how they are rebuilding their team.
Recruiter followup
- Two days later, the recruiter sent me an email asking if I had a few minutes to talk, only to tell me I was rejected and we should stay in touch.
Overall, the team seems nice and the interview process is fair.
