They have a 4 point strategy that are all inter-connected. They offer an array of service lines seamlessly (One Firm or PwC Experience, they call it) which enables PwC to offer a multi-discplinary approach to client's problems. This is arguably the best way to perform consultancy nowadays due to increasing uncertainty and how complex issues are therefore specialist industries become less able to fully tackle the client's issue alone. This high client satisfaction attracts the brightest candidates, which is the lifeblood of consultancy. Furthermore, their rotation programme is unique and attracts people like myself who want to experience different areas of consulting and industries before specialising! Most other consultancies of this size do not offer that (except MBB, but they are another story!). Then, bright people mean that there is a greater tendency to create an innovative environment, which enhances knowledge sharing (a huge plus and source of competitve advantage since professional services most valuable tools are data and knowledge!), Finally, Increased awareness of PwC knows and does not know will help PwC make the right decisions on what techologies and areas of further research it needs to pinpoint exactly what the client needs!
