I used the Gov.uk website to apply for the role under the apprenticeship program. After a few days I was called in for an interview, I can't remember the exact time but I believe it was in the morning at about 09:30.
I was well dressed and was feeling confident but also nervous, as you'd expect. I got in to the main reception and was offered a nice drink which was well received as I was cold and wet from the journey.
Unfortunately, the interviewers were caught in a over prolonged meeting and I was left waiting for a good 45 minutes after I was expecting to be seen to.
But they soon started the interview and I was shown around the impressive facilities. The interview wasn't too long but the staff were friendly and I got on well with all three of them.
After the main interview had finished, the factory supervisor gave me a tour of the production facilities and company utilities.
I left feeling quite confident and happy to have had the experience.
