I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IGA (Montreal, QC) in May 2013
Interview
Submitted cv in person. Got a call a few hours later. Scheduled interviewed. Showed up to a very small office but nicely decorated. Interviewed with one woman with heavy accent. We talked about general stuff even where she was from. Very casual. Routine questions about myself.
I completed a written application and had an in person interview that was casual and informal. The interview took about 30 minutes, and the manager showed me around the store.
Interview was quick and easy, but I passed because it just wasn't a good fit for me. I wanted something more towards deli but they interviewed me for cashier. It was positive though.
during the interview, they were professional, asked pertinent questions and tested my skills in both French and English. it was a well organized interview process. I enjoyed the process and would have taken the job if i didn't get a job somewhere else first
