Easy interview
Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ITC Infotech (Bengaluru) in Nov 2018
Interview
The interview process was conducted for Java Developer, but the position was L1 Support in PLM.
There was an online test, by amcat, involving aptitude and some coding questions. The shortlisted were called to the office for interview.
The first one was a technical interview, and it was simple, based on oops and java questions. The second interview was personal, talked about resume and other details.
Overall, an easy interview, but the job description given wasn't clear.
There are a total of 3 rounds in the selection process. The first round is an online assessment, followed by TR and HR rounds. The interview and assessment are not too hard knowing the fundamentals of java and sql are enough to clear the rounds.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions are mostly asked on the java fundamentals and OOPS concepts.
The interview process was smooth and relatively easy. Most of the questions were based on my project experience and the skills mentioned in the job description. The interviewer focused on understanding my practical knowledge, problem-solving approach, and basic concepts related to the role.
The ITC Infotech interview process was highly challenging, focusing on strong technical fundamentals, problem-solving skills, and real-time scenarios. Questions were in-depth, requiring clarity, confidence, and practical knowledge under pressure. It didnt really feel relevant or necessary for the package and the role.
