Interview
*This position was listed on LinkedIn as the Digital Marketing Manager, but then in interviews and written correspondence, they referred to it as the Engagement Manager. After setting up an interview with the hiring manager via LinkedIn, I had a quick Zoom interview, maybe 20 minutes. It went well enough and I was invited to interview with another person the following week. The interview with this person went even better. I felt great about this company, the people, and I thought that we had similar values. As it turns out, respect is not one of those shared values. I was told that they would follow up with me whether they decided to extend an offer or not, and they gave me a date. A week after that date, I still hadn't heard anything and sent a friendly follow-up. Nothing. The interview process took about 3 weeks total, between scheduling the 2 interviews, and then they left me hanging. I understand that they're busy (everyone is) but it only takes a moment to let a candidate know their status.
