I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at InMotion Hosting
Interview
Interview process typically contains 1 phone screen and 1 in-person (or webcam) interview. The phone screening will ask you some basic questions about your knowledge of the web hosting industry, web technology, and your experience with Linux. The phone interview is not so much a technical interview, but to see if you would be a good fit for the company.
The second interview will cover your technical knowledge and experience and usually consists of 2 or more people. They will ask you questions about the LAMP stack, as well as email, DNS, and basic troubleshooting. My advice for this interview would be to make sure you know everything on the study sheet they provide (usually found on the job posting, possibly found on the 'technical pipeline' page). Almost everything on the study guide was covered in some way or another.
