I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at InVision Communications (Walnut Creek, CA) in Oct 2019
Interview
Upon receiving my resume, I received an email from HR requesting a phone interview with the hiring manager. I was asked to provide a minimum of two date and time options, which I did via an email response to the employee who made the request. I NEVER received any communication confirming a date and time for the phone interview. In fact, I sent a follow up email the next day asking if my email was received; no response. I get a voicemail message from the hiring manager a day or two later that the call was for the phone interview. I immediately called the hiring manager back and informed her that I had no idea there was a phone interview taking place as I never received any confirmation as to a date and time for the interview; caught me completely off guard and I was not happy because I am always on top of things. She apologized and said the person was new who set up the interviews but that this error would be pointed out. The interview went well I thought, but I get a rejection email a couple of weeks later from the person who made the error with the scheduling. The joke is that I was not even asked to come in for an on-site interview as a highly qualified candidate, but the incompetent employee still has a job there. Go figure...very unprofessional. Clearly, I have no desire to waste my intelligence and talents with such an unprofessional company with obvious low expectations for their employees.
