Instrumentl interview questions

The interview process lacked transparency regarding the total number of interview rounds. I progressed through five interviews, including a meeting with the CEO, under the impression that it would be the final step, but that was not the case. At no point was there a clear outline of what to expect or how many stages were involved. Clearer communication and setting expectations upfront would greatly improve the candidate experience.

First round was a call with the hiring manager, which was my favorite conversation- she was so interesting and well-spoken and articulated the mission really well Second was with the CTO, who was also excellent. He asked about my experiences, some working style questions Third was a FE exercise with 2 engineers- this was good. I am a backend engineer primarily so I struggled a bit, but they were helpful Fourth was a BE exercise with 2 engineers- also good I ended up accepting a different offer that came along first, but I had a great experience interviewing with Instrumentl
