A recruiter called me to ask whether I'm interested in NodeJS developer position. After getting positive response she started the interview process.
- Day 1, Thursday. Recruiter said me an interview exam is sent,and asked me whether I could solve the exam until at the end of the weekend. I replied positively.
- Day 5, Monday. Recruiter texted me whether I was get the exam or not. My answer was NO.
- Day 6, Tuesday. I got the exam. Recruiter asked me to solve it until thursday, after getting negative response she extended the duration with the weekend.
- Day 8, Thursday. I solved the exam. But the exam was not seem to be related the position which was mentioned to me. It included different topics like PL/SQL, Microservice infrastructure, CSS etc. Whatever, I solved it. But I gave feedback about the exam to recruiter.
- Day 14, Wednesday. Recruiter informed me the process would be continue with next step which was a meeting with HR.
- Day 15, Thursday. Recruiter asked me whether I'm available for the next day. I replied no. I wast not for available all week.
- Day 16, Friday. Two meetings were organized with both HR and PM for next week.
- Day 20, Tuesday. We had a meeting.
- Day 21, Wednesday. Recruiter said the interview process continues with the next step which is a technical interview. And also she asked a CV with a photo on it. I said I dont have a photo on my CV.
- Day 22, Thursday. Recruiter said that the company wants to have CV with a photo, but for now it was not requested. It seemed to be weird to me, but I told the recruiter if it is a must, then I can prepare a CV according to their requirements.
- Day 27, Tuesday. Recruiter contacted me whether the company organized a meeting or not. Answer was NO.
- Day 28, Wednesday. I was informed that the person who I would have an interview is not available during the weekdays.
- Day 35, Wednesday. The company requested a CV with a photo on it. I understand the process can take much time then expected, but Shouldn't my CV be checked until now..? It must be a joke, but not :)
They hang me on 15 days for a technical interview, but then they realized the CV does not satisfy their requirements.
All in all, I replied not to continue the process.
