I applied online. I interviewed at Isaacson Miller (Washington, DC)
Interview
Applied in March. Video interview in June, in-person interview in July, another in-person interview in August, 11-page editing exercise and 1-page writing exercise, called five references and spoke for up to a half an hour, fourth in-person interview, then was given reason of "fit" for not getting offer in early September.
There were three rounds of interviews, a phone screen, a conversation with managing search coordinators, and a meeting with partners. Everything was very straightforward. There were a few questions about DEI, but it all felt pretty surface level.

Interview
Very easy going interview process. I was given a 45 minute phone call screening and then given a writing assignment as the next step. They gave me 24 hours to complete it, but it could be done in 2 or 3 hours.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Isaacson Miller (San Francisco, CA) in May 2021
Interview
I didn't believe the other reviews by past interviewees saying they'd been ghosted because my experiences interviewing were so positive. Then, I was ghosted after 4 interviews and a writing assessment. One of the interviews was 1.5 hours and I followed up multiple times and never heard back.
