I went online and applied for the job for Studio Coordinator in the custom decorating department. I recieved a phone call about 4-5 days later from a lady in Alabama wanting to schedule a phone interview. When scheduled the interview about four days from the date of our initial conversation. She began the interview by asking me to tell her a little about myself. I advised her I had a bachelors degree in Interior Design, and that I had four years of experience as a visual coordinator and what all that entailed. She then asked if I had any experience selling, and I advised her not very much. She then started to tell me about the position that was available, and I immediately knew that she was describing a position that I did not apply for, which was for a customer decorator, that travled within in a 60 mile radius almost daily. She advised me that it was comission only, but that I would recieve a draw. She also stated that some weeks I would work 50 hrs and only get paid for 40. I then let her know that that was not the position I applied for, and she told me that the other position had been filled. Needless to say, I was pretty ticked at her for waisting my time. I told her I appreciated the consideration, but not thanks.
