I interviewed a week after contacting the gallery online. I went in ready to speak about my experience working within a gallery, which I did for 3+ years. Immediantly, the gallery owner interviewing me was rude, kept cutting me off while I WAS SPEAKING, and pretty much insulted my intelligence all because I was a dog walker at the time, saying I wouldn't have time for the job "because of the dogs." Clearly, I was trying to start a new career with my past experience, but she was too pretentious to hear a word of it. Wow. What a joke. I'm sure it was discrimination practice, I am African American, because that was truly unprofessional and a waste of my time. I hope she gets exsposed for such behavior.
